Assignment 1

I chose my story website because I love the story I made for it. Especially on how detailed it was, and the length of the story was pretty good too. I loved the layout of the website and the button setup. I also figured out how to mirror an image and add arrow nav buttons. The website had a good color scheme, one that I think is good.

The website has good features that I use on my websites that I still work on, like making a header stay in one place on the page even if you scroll. It was one of my first times using dropdowns on my website. The story was well written with a good length, too.  I still use the same styling I use for that header for my current websites. The layout was one of my favorites, and I still use that as almost a baseline for my current websites.

Assignment 2

I chose this piece of work because I take pride in it. I also love what this does. It’s fun to play, and it’s entertaining. I like how it uses simple code to make a fun game. I also like how it uses a good amount of things we have learned.

This piece shows some of the different simple things you can do in JavaScript, like loops and if statements. The code may be simple, but it gives a good example of what you can do with small things. Playing the game can help with your way of doing strategies because of how strategies can help get the number quicker than going 1 2 3 4 5 6. The program is easy to use; it’s just entering numbers until you get it right. It will also provide hints on whether the number is too high or too low.
